How Optiperm™ Olefins works
Optiperm™ Olefins uses facilitated transport to pass olefins through the membrane while leaving the paraffin behind. This is in contrast to the 70-year-old incumbent technology (distillation), which uses difference in boiling points and incurs high operational and capital penalties.
